Our Mission Statement:
Harmony Animal Wellness Center is a small animal veterinary clinic providing a unique integrative approach including acupuncture, herbal medicine and conventional veterinary services – The best of both worlds.

Our primary objective is to serve our human and animal clientele with compassion, integrity and with the highest quality pet care. We aim to educate our clients and the local community in the benefits of alternative and preventive health care for animals and to provide a caring and inspirational work environment for our staff.

Dr. Frank Bousaid, DVM
Dr. Bousaid received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995 from Texas A&M University.  From 1995 to 1999 he practiced veterinary medicine at clinics in Chicago and Seattle.  For the past 9 years, until fall of 2008, Dr. Bousaid practiced at a clinic in Redmond, WA.  In 2003 he completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society’s (IVAS) course and immediately incorporated Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine into his practice.

Dr. Bousaid volunteers at Pasado’s Safe Haven, the Pet Project in Seattle (a free clinic for HIV/Aids patients) and participated for a week in the New Orleans Katrina rescue operations.

Kris Jensen, Practice Manager
Ms. Jensen received her Accounting degree in 1978 from Butler University and her CPA in 1984. An ongoing passion since childhood for biology and small animal welfare prompted Ms. Jensen to leave the corporate climate to work in the animal health and welfare industries.  From 1993 to 2000, Ms. Jensen worked in a holistic veterinary clinic as bookkeeper, receptionist, veterinary assistant, and ultimately Hospital Manager.  She has also owned her own pet-sitting business.

Over the years Ms. Jensen volunteered her time at Humane Societies as a dog obedience instructor and at PAWS wildlife rehabilitation facility, HOWL (Help Our WildLife).

Kelsey Pritchett, LVT
"The profession is so exciting because there's always something to learn.  You can always become better at what you do!"

Kelsey started her career in the veterinary profession in 1996 as an animal care technician in Redmond.  In 2000 she was promoted to a veterinary technician and fell in love with the profession.  In 2004, Kelsey became licensed in her field by graduating from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in Denver, Colorado.  Kelsey's interest in the combination of Western and Eastern medicine was a perfect fit for Harmony Animal Wellness Center.

In her free time, Kelsey is an avid horseback rider.  She adopted her horse, Faith, from Hope For Horses rescue organization in Woodinville, WA.  Kelsey's other pets include Tanner, a German Shepherd; Neeka, a rescue from a Denver shelter of unknown breed; and Buddha, a Siamese cross.
